Founded in 2024 by entrepreneur and passionate social worker Dilim Dieke, The Social Work Ladies Collective, Inc is a dynamic 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering female social work and mental health professionals. Through a variety of engaging community event, mixers, and retreat experiences held both in person and virtually, The Collective fosters a supportive environment for women to connect, collaborate, and thrive both personally and professionally. The Collective will soon launch initiatives to provide support and resources for social workers pursuing professional and personal growth opportunities.
At the heart of The Collective is the belief in the power of community - especially the strength of women supporting women. We are committed to helping social workers, clinicians, and community advocates stay engaged, grow in their careers, and remain passionate about their vital work.
By creating spaces for meaningful connection and nurturing a culture of inclusivity, The Collective is helping to ensure the retention and success of women in social work. Our mission is simple: when women in the field come together, they thrive.
Since its inception, The Collective has made incredible strides. With over 200 women served, over 1000 followers on Instagram, several successful community events organized, and a dedicated Leadership Team, the Collective continues to build a strong and supportive network for female social workers and mental health professionals in and outside the NYC metro area.
